Charity

A share of every coin thrown here goes to charity. Right now that share is 10%, and the cause is a cause to be announced — both are still being finalised ahead of launch, and this page will be updated the moment they are.

10% of what throwacoin.lol receives after payment fees goes to a cause to be announced.

That distinction matters at these price points: a percentage of the sticker price — rather than of what actually lands in our account after Dodo Payments’ processing fees — could mean donating more in a month with a handful of disputes than the site keeps for itself. We donate on the smaller, real number, not the bigger, theoretical one.

Running total

No donation has gone out yet. Once the cause above is finalised, this section will show a running total of what has actually been given — kept honest by hand for now, rather than an automated figure nobody has verified.
